The Carrier Manager position at Reliant Transportation is a full-time role responsible for managing freight execution and developing carrier relationships within an assigned region. Focused on execution, relationship-building, and results, Carrier Managers cover loads, negotiate carrier rates, and recruit and retain carrier partners to meet regional volume and margin goals. In addition to day-to-day operations, this position supports the bulk division and requires a deep understanding of carrier businesses to offer tailored solutions and drive long-term growth. POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Customer Sales Manager at Reliant, you will be the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of customers, managing their day-to-day freight needs. This role focuses on building strong relationships, expanding existing accounts by identifying new lane and load opportunities, and providing competitive freight pricing. You’ll also take part in RFPs and bidding processes, resolve service issues, and work to grow a solid book of business to meet or exceed sales revenue targets.

- Identify, prospect, and qualify new customers whose transportation needs align with our service offerings, driving targeted business growth.
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships with customers through consistent engagement, responsiveness, and personalized service.
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication with customers to ensure their requirements are met efficiently and professionally.
- Generate new sales leads through ZoomInfo and other strategic outbound efforts to maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
- Drive organic customer growth by identifying additional service opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and delivering consistent value.
- Build and manage a robust book of business through cold calling, outreach, and relationship-driven selling strategies.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively by identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction.
